I am seeing lots of Social Media chatter and posts about an extension of 6 weeks on the mandate. NOT TRUE! SEIU is portraying it in a positive light without all the facts. They did not do anything spectacular except sign off on some ridiculous nonsense that set our bar even higher to fight. If you are not fully vaccinated and or received an "exception" approval by October 18th, you will be on payroll from home utilizing YOUR vacation, comp time or LWOP. Sick leave usage would only fall into play if you have a Dr. Note and FMLA/OFLA approval to burn sick leave. If you end up in that position, as of right now, you will be terminated if one of the above requirements isn't met by 11/30/2021.
